Accident Prevention Program

The accident prevention program was developed in order to fully implement the district’s safety and health policy. The elements of this program cover a broad spectrum of areas and are designed to prevent accidents and injuries. Taken individually, the program elements have minimal effect. As an integrated program, and with the support of employees at all levels, the accident prevention program can reduce the number and severity of job related injuries to district employees.

This sample program is provided to assist you as an employer in developing programs tailored to your own operation.  We encourage you to copy, expand, modify and customize this sample as necessary to accomplish this goal.

The following link will provide you access to a variety of safety programs that you can download and customize to your district specific needs.
